I feel like it doesn't matter what the district does, it will never be "enough". If they would have called it last night, people would be complaining and saying "well I was just out and roads are fine...". They call it at 5 am and people complain that it's short notice. There is no winning, here. Main roads were OK. My road... a back road... was absolutely crap. So this 2 hour delay was a great decision. Also, it's winter in Pennsylvania. We know snow/ice is potentially a thing. 🤷🏼♀️
The school district needs to make the call about the delay at 4:30 - 4:45am period 😡 We should not be getting notified at 5:09am when we are dressed have cleared our vehicle are in them and heading to work!
I worked until 1am drove an 1hr home but I still told my kids plan on 2hr delay.....I got up woke them up it is what it is....Im glad they had a 2hr delay I have a senior that drives!
The Facilities Department is accepting applications for summer maintenance employment. Students must be at least 16 yrs old, an East Penn resident, and must be a current EHS student or grad. Deadline for applying is 4/4/25.
