Cheyenne Fenstermaker am i reading this correctly?
I understand all the complaining and grief from the working parent side, I get that, this morning, even with a 2 hour delay felt sickening. The light on a 2 hour delay helps us drivers see to navigate the areas of snowdrifts, etc, there was no extra warmth though. I was fully layered and it was unbelievably cold, for the parents that think it's ok for you 72 lb 6th grader to wear shorts and a t-shirt in this weather=kudos to you, but seriously, control this behavior now, or your next 6 years are going to be a disaster. Yes, the buses have issues starting in these temperatures, it is cold, frigid cold.a delay at least gives us light to navigate, but it is still way below freezing temps. Make sure your kids are appropriately dressed, as we may be running late.
Everyone has a difference of opinion and no one‘s gonna change the other person‘s opinion based on what they say. Regardless we didn’t make the call (as parents, teachers, and some admin). It’s up to each district to make that call and it will never please everyone. If you have a complaint or are dissatisfied I suggest contacting the district administrator. Maybe don’t put it on Facebook to create drama and arguments ; whichever side you are on
