Hello Alburtis Families,
I am reaching out to share some sad news. This afternoon, a fast moving, house fire took place in our community. This fire has impacted one of our very own Alburtis Eagles. I am happy to share that the young lady was able to get out of the home before sustaining any major injuries. Her dad will be spending some time recovering from his injuries and will need a great deal of support in the recovery process.
Unfortunately, the fire left the family at a total loss and they will need a great deal of support over the next few weeks and months. I thank you, our Alburtis Elementary School Angel Network Donors and our Amazing Alburtis Community for your incredible charity, support and dedication. Together we truly can make a difference!
I would be remiss if I did not thank our amazing first responders who very quickly went into action to knock down the fire, rescue the student and her father, as well as the family pets without hesitation. We are very fortunate to have some incredible volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to helping others. We appreciate YOU!
I have been in communication with the mother and we created a list of immediate needs. If you are able to donate any of the following items, I ask that you please deliver them to the Alburtis Elementary School Main Office between 8:00AM and 3:00 PM daily, Monday-Friday. All donations will either picked up or delivered daily to assist the family in getting back on their feet during this very difficult time.
